Owen Biosciences Inc. (OBI®) is a registered Over-the-Counter (OTC) manufacturing facility with the FDA and the Louisiana Department of Health and Human Services. We are committed to the highest standards of quality and safety through strict cGMP compliance.

OBI’s production, filling, and warehouse facilities are purposefully designed to optimize and streamline the manufacturing of skincare and personal healthcare products. A comprehensive range of equipment supports large-scale mixing, blending, heating, and homogenization of raw materials and finished skincare formulations. Our manufacturing capabilities accommodate batch sizes ranging from 30 gallons to 1,000 gallons, providing flexibility for pilot production, scale-up, and full commercial manufacturing.

In addition to manufacturing operations, OBI maintains state-of-the-art scientific laboratories, including dedicated Research & Development, formulary, and analytical labs, as well as additional specialized scientific laboratories that support product innovation, testing, and quality assurance.

On-site automated bottle, jar, and tube filling systems—along with single-head manual fillers—enable us to fill a wide range of packaging formats, including bottles, jars, airless containers, and tubes. Automated labeling equipment allows for rapid and precise application of adhesive wraparound labels, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality finished products. Together, these capabilities work seamlessly to support our clients, delivering a complete, end-to-end manufacturing and fulfillment solution.

OBI is structured into specialized groups that integrate scientific expertise, intellectual property, management, and production:

• BioSynthesis Group (BSG): Develops high-performance bioactive skincare ingredients and advanced delivery systems.
• Formulary Development Group (FDG): Has created numerous custom personal healthcare formulations over the past 35 years.
• Product Production Group (PPG): Combines FDG formulations and BSG ingredients to manufacture final products.
• Quality Assurance Laboratory & cGMP Compliance Department: Ensure regulatory adherence and product safety.
• Marketing and Sales Department: Provides business, managerial, and regulatory support to bring products to market.
